We have carried out 2018 workplace sexual harassment prevention education from September to November in all domestic workplaces to prevent sexual harassment in workplaces and to response in case of sexual harassment. So far, it was conducted in individual workplace, but this year, the education is carried out under the supervision of the HR management team in order to deliver strong willingness of the management group. The education was given to all employees and representative of internal partners and the education consists of the importance of respect and consideration between employees and countermeasure in case of sexual harassment. And, ‘sexual harassment case handling manual’ and ‘preventive and countermeasure guideline’ enacted this year are announced together for employees to read.
We expect that this education enables people to understand how to response in case of sexual harassment. It is also expected that additional damage can be prevented by securing fairness and quick handling by strengthening the role of the grievance committee (HR management team).
