Definition
Conflict minerals refers to the four major minerals mined in conflict areas
in Africa and in order to prevent inflow of sales fund of this mineral to the armed group of the corresponding countries infringing human rights, it is regulated for the companies to report whether to use the conflict minerals mined in conflict areas. ​
·Conflict Regions (10 countries):Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, the Central African Republic, Republic of South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola
· Conflict Minerals(3TGs) :Tin, Tantalum, Tungsten, Gold
Policy
By applying international standards that regulate conflict minerals and establishing
conflict minerals work process for observance laws, we actively support activities of prohibiting use
of conflict minerals and identify the name and location of the refinery of tin, tantalum, tungsten, and metal used in the products of our company.
We support to purchase conflict minerals from the refineries certified by the affiliates and we request submission
of questionnaire on conflict minerals use and written confirmation of not using conflict minerals.
