Amid an increasingly important landscape of international economic cooperation in the global business environment, CTR recently welcomed a significant visit.

On June 17th, officials from the Investment Promotion Bureau of Zhangjiagang Economic and Technological Development Zone in China visited CTR’s Changwon plant for a meaningful discussion on economic cooperation opportunities.

Zhangjiagang, where CTR CHINA is located, is an emerging industrial city in China that has been experiencing active industrial growth, with strengths in the automotive parts and precision machinery sectors. This visit served as an important milestone to explore mutual cooperation possibilities between CTR and Zhangjiagang and to lay the foundation for future joint development.

The delegation visiting CTR’s Changwon plant consisted of Mr. Bian Xinfeng, Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of Zhangjiagang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Mr. Lin Jin dan, Deputy Director of the First Division, and Mr. Zhang Bin, Deputy Director of the Second Division. They expressed a strong impression of CTR CHINA’s growth trajectory and current plant operations. In particular, they highly evaluated CTR’s corporate value and contributions to the Zhangjiagang regional economy and conveyed hopes to further expand cooperation opportunities going forward.

In response, Mr. Dong Ok Lee, CEO of CTR, expressed his gratitude and requested continued support and cooperation from the local government to ensure CTR CHINA can maintain stable business operations in Zhangjiagang.

Both parties agreed to keep the door open for further discussions in Zhangjiagang and shared a mutual understanding of the importance of expanding exchanges and cooperation. This visit served as a positive opportunity to strengthen the relationship between CTR and Zhangjiagang.

The day’s schedule began with the delegation’s arrival at CTR Changwon plant at 9:20 a.m. and included a company introduction, a presentation on investment promotion in Zhangjiagang, an introduction to the CTR history hall, a plant line tour, and a group photo at the photo zone.

During the on-site plant tour, CTR’s latest industrial robot technology attracted special attention. The delegation was particularly interested in how CTR automates repetitive or hazardous tasks based on high precision and repeatability, thereby enhancing production efficiency while ensuring worker safety.

Additionally, the Zhangjiagang visitors showed great interest in the uniquely wave-shaped CTR history hall and its embedded ‘Surfer Spirit,’ as well as the real-time production and inventory monitoring system and the FEMS-based plant energy management system.

This visit from the Zhangjiagang Investment Promotion Bureau was a meaningful occasion to reaffirm the trust in CTR’s technological capabilities and global operational systems, confirming greater possibilities for cooperation.
