ESG, which stands for Environment, Social, and Governance, has now become an essential component of corporate management. Today, we have exciting news to share with the CTR Group family!

CTR Mobility has earned a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, a global ESG evaluation organization!

EcoVadis is a globally recognized institution that evaluates the ESG levels of over 100,000 companies worldwide. It assesses companies based onfour key areas: environmental protection, human rights, ethical management, and sustainable procurement.

CTR Mobility received a score placing it in the top 15% of companies, earning the Silver Medal.
This signifies that CTR Mobility has not only practiced ESG but has also gained international trust and competitiveness through systematic and strategic ESG management.

To become a sustainable company, CTR Mobility has made ESG a core management strategy and has engaged in various activities to meet global standards.

 

Environmental (Environment) Sector

- Optimizing operations to reduce energy consumption

- Plans to introduce eco-friendly manufacturing processes and expand the use of renewable energy

Investments to reduce carbon emissions and strategies for applying eco-friendly materials

 

Labor & Human Rights Sector

- Strengthening policies to improve employee safety and welfare

- Creating a fair working environment and running diversity & inclusion training programs

 

Ethics Sector

- Updating internal regulations to prevent corruption and strengthen ethical management

- Establishing monitoring systems for transparent corporate operations

 

Sustainable Procurement Sector

- Strengthening supplier policies reflecting ESG standards

- Introducing a sustainability evaluation system across the supply chain

 

The meaningful practices across these sectors were made possible thanks to the organic collaboration among various departments within CTR Group, as well as the leadership of CTR Mobility's management team.

CTR Mobility's EHS team provided environmental management performance data and conducted improvement activities, while CTR Holdings’ People & Culture team contributed to sharing human rights management results and creating a fair working environment, formalizing internal guidelines. Many members actively participated in strengthening ESG management, creating great synergy.

CTR Mobility plans to use this Silver Medal as a stepping stone to aim for even greater goals.

To achieve early carbon neutrality (Net Zero), the company is working to improve energy efficiency and actively adopt renewable energy. By 2030, CTR Mobility aims to reduce carbon emissions by 20% compared to 2019, and by 2035, reduce them by 40%. To achieve this, they plan to expand technology development and infrastructure investment for eco-friendly production processes.

Moreover, CTR Mobility is expanding human rights protection policies that meet global standards and strengthening ethical management by establishing internal monitoring systems and pursuing certifications such as ISO 37001 (Anti-Corruption Management System).

Additionally, the company is accelerating efforts to build a sustainable supply chain by increasing the use of eco-friendly raw materials and implementing evaluation and management systems to establish ESG standards with partners.
