Do you remember the CTR [RE:NOVATION] Campaign, which was launched globally across the CTR Group late last year?
Previously introduced on the CTR Blog, this campaign was a global environmental initiative carried out together by CTR offices worldwide, aimed at giving new value to discarded bottle caps.
For this campaign, bottle-cap collection bins made from recycled CTR boxes were installed at CTR offices across Korea, as well as in North America, Russia, and other regions.
With employees voluntarily taking part, the number of collected bottle caps continued to grow, resulting in a total of 3,374 bottle caps being collected.
The collected bottle caps are now being upcycled through collaborations with local upcycling specialists in each region, and will be reborn as practical, long-lasting items such as clocks, pens, and keyrings.
Through this upcycling initiative, CTR achieved an estimated reduction of 32.37 kg of CO₂ emissions.
This amount is equivalent to the carbon dioxide absorbed by one pine tree over approximately 1,206 days (about 3 years and 3 months).

The CTR [RE:NOVATION] Campaign is a collection of small actions that came together through the warm participation of CTR employees around the world.
